The Games We Play

From classic dominoes to strategy-heavy board games. There's something for everyone.

Dominoes

The classic. Quick rounds, easy to learn, endlessly strategic. Most groups play double-six or double-nine variations.

Backgammon

Ancient game of skill and luck. Faster than chess, deeper than you'd expect. Our leagues run seasonal tournaments.

Jigsaw Puzzles

Work together or solo. Bring your own or join the group challenge. Coffee included. No rush.

Strategy Games

Modern board games like Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Carcassonne. Complex enough to be interesting. Not so hard you'll get frustrated.

Questions Before You Join

We get asked these things all the time.

Do I need to know how to play?

No. Most groups have regulars who enjoy teaching new people. You'll learn by playing. Honestly, you'll pick it up faster if you just dive in.

What if I'm shy?

Everyone feels that way the first time. You don't need to talk much — the game does the talking. By the third visit, you'll be joking with people.

Is there a cost to join?

That depends on the club. Some are free. Others ask for a small contribution for space rental or snacks. We list all the details with each event.

What time do games happen?

Most clubs meet in the evening, between 6-9 PM. Some do Saturday afternoon puzzle marathons. Check the event listing for exact times.

Do I have to go every week?

No. Come when you can. Some people show up every week. Others come twice a month. There's no commitment. Just show up when you feel like it.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely. Most clubs love new people. The more the merrier. Your friend will fit right in.
